Okay while I'm writing this, my mind flew back to 13 December 2013. The day when Djakarta Warehouse Project 2013 was held. Finally, I had the opportunity to went there. The event itself,,, totally magical for me. I lost my sandals but I stood in first row from the beginning until the end hehehe. I got the best view of the stage, best sound of the music and most of all I could experience the best night of my life in 2013 hehehe. However, I wouldn't talk about the event. I'm talking about me and why I love dance music. I was never a type of girl who loves going to the club. Yeah, went several times but never regularly. Just occasional. Knowing this, lots of my friends didn't expect that I love dance music, particularly David Guetta, Tiesto and Armin Van Buuren. Some of them asked, how did I know these DJs? First source, my friends who loves going to the club. Sometimes they played the music in computer or in the car. I consider myself as a music lover so every time I heard music that I consider ear-catch, I instantly love it. That what happen to me liking the dance music. In the first 30 seconds the music played, I love it. Simple, eh? Second source, YouTube. I randomly browsed various channels, mostly hosted by VEVO. There are some collaboration between singers or bands with DJs. I like it so much. After that, I will search the DJs channel and browse the videos. This is how I stumbled upon Alesso, Sebastian Ingrosso, and Flight Facilities, to name a few. Third source, TV shows. Yeah sometimes I watch TV shows, like sports, and sometimes they use dance music as as background. They put the title of the song and sometimes I took note. Next day, I'll find the video on YouTube. So that's my sources to find good dance music. Then there is question that probably popped up in your mind: So if I like dance music, should I go to the club? Not necessarily. Don't be silly, with the internet, you can easily found musics and videos you like. I found lots of dance musics without stepping into club. Take a look of my sources above. Even though I didn't go to the club, it doesn't mean I can't create my own dancing room. Here's what I do:
You have your own dance floor!!! I often do this when I think my head will explode with,,, everything. Through the dance to the music I played, I found a peace of mind. At least, I can transfer all negative energy inside my body. Hey, I'm sweating!!! For me it's nice replacement since I'm totally lazy for exercise (BAD HABIT!!!). Everybody has their own stress-free methods. Music is one of them. For me, dance music is one of my methods to overcome stress. I listen to dance music every morning on my way to the office. I listen to dance music when I need concentration while working. I listen to dance music when I'm sad/stress (yes it's true). After few years, I found method that suits me. Maybe you have your own method? Feel free to share :)

Hey, nice writing. Did you go to DWP by yourself? I just wanna say 'do it no more' hehe..... We have community who love to go rave parties. Most of us are 'single fighter', used to go to festival by our own. Then we gathered and named ourselves 'FrontRowFlag' since we used to bring Indonesian flag and put it in front row :D. Just check our twitter account @FrontRowFlagID. We would be happy to welcome you :))
