So today’s prompt asked us to head over to favorite website and head to the third news. Make a post based on the headline. Kinda tough task for me for several reasons:

People around me knows my reaction when it comes to receiving good news. I will definitely jump like a little girl receiving candies. Yes, I will jump here and there, celebrating the good news we just received.
It’s just my habit since I was little. A habit I still do until now. Beside jumping, I also add the clapping hand. Yes, another sign of being a childish person. What else I do??? Oh, add some squealing hehehe. Then laugh with all my heart. We should celebrate good news, right?
After that, I will say my prayers in mind, thanking God for His blessings. It’s also a habit that my family taught me. Always remember God for all the events that happen in our lives. Remember God also keep you down to earth. Reminds you that everything happens for a reason. Being grateful person.
What do you do???

I’ve read many blogs and often inspired me to do something. Take traveling for example. I decided to do traveling after I read The Naked Traveler. The blog inspired me to explore new places, both Indonesia and outside Indonesia. However, there is one blog that makes me want to taste their adventure. The blog is Dua Ransel (Two Backpaks).
The owner of this awesome travel blog is husband and wife named Ryan and Dina. They traded the comfortable and steady life to became digital nomads since 2009. Yes, they literally backpacking to more than 40 countries! In each countries, they will share stories about their lives. Where they stay, how they work and of course tips to travel.
The life of the young couple really exciting! I want to experience their lives and write it in a blog post. Yes, I want to switch with them for a week. I imagine lots of things to see, listen and feel. Try new places and meet new friends. Most of all, by traveling I believe I rediscover myself, about what can I do.
Oh I do hope I can meet them in person hehehe.

Hmmm due to the prompt I need to write an opinion about one thing. So I chose thisarticle since it became so much debate nowadays.
Government decided to blocked several Islamic sites because they spreading radicalism. When I looked at the list, some of the sites, I agreed, quite troubling me with the content. They called themselves Islamic sites, but the content spreading rumors and hatred. That’s not Islam way. Due to lots of protests from citizens, the government decided to blocked the sites.
Is this a correct way???
In my opinion, this action quite affected Islamic sites that true to the Islam’s spirit. For me, it’s like you burn the whole forest just to get rid of one damaged tree. Rather than banned, we could use legal way. We do have law that regulate internet actions. We can use the law as the base.
Legal way is more elegant than banning the sites. I guess people now wise enough to filtered the information they need.
PS. I couldn’t think more about anything. FLU!!!

Kinda tricky prompt. Honestly I need to think hard when I typed this.
I don’t know what to write. Oh I realized that this post is my 30th post of Daily Post Challenge. I finally writing a whole month theme. If I miss a date, I will catch up in the next one. There’s a time that I need to write 3 posts to catching up. Doubting myself at first, could I manage to write. Apparently I do write a whole month themes.
If that so, is this my celebratory post? In my opinion, indeed. I also participate in Daily Post Challenge in my other blog, in Bahasa Indonesia. Kinda juggling to meet deadline. Of course, I also managed to write a whole month themes.
So, congratulations to me!!!

Do I a different person, online and offline occasion? My answer will be YES! However, in this post I will emphasize my communication style direct and indirect. Direct, of course will be face-to-face encounters. Indirect will be written communication (chat, email, social media).
People who know me will say that I’m one of the loudest person they’ve ever known. I can speak very frankly to the person I know very well. With someone I just meet, of course I will be more reserve. It takes time to be comfortable around new person. Although they will guess easily that I’m a loudest person. That’s how I communicate directly.
I guess, I’m more comfortable to express my opinion in written. In social media world, some of my friends call me the sarcastic b***h because my posts often insinuating issues, even person, in polite yet funny way. Hey that’s the use of social media, right? To discuss something serious in fun way. Well, I can be serious sometimes hehehe.
Often, I can’t express freely how I feel. For example, with my boyfriend. Few times I sent him an email to tell him how I feel. In written communication, personal one, sometimes I don’t need a reply. I just want to let it all out what’s inside my thought. That’s why I do have secret journal in my gadget to let all my sadness, anger, and frustration out. I choose words descriptively and never use analogy or metaphors. I want them to know how I really feel, straight to the point.
In that case, let’s say that yes I do expressive person in terms of written communication to someone I know.

I don’t like April Fools,,, Literally. It’s because I’m not good at making pranks. Especially in written so nope, I’m not gonna make any post prank.
However yesterday I found one. I think my friends who love rave festival got fooled. In the morning, I received this picture.
Yes this year Bali will be one of of the hosts for Ultra Music Festival. When theannouncement came out we were ecstatic! Finally, Ultra will come to Indonesia. No line up announced yet so we still guess who is the line up. When I saw this, I immediately checked the official Twitter of Ultra. They still discussed the last Ultra Music Festival Miami 2015. So I became suspicious, probably this was a hoax. Not to mention, it’s April 1. So I waited.
Then this morning, another picture came out.
See??? It’s a PRANK! I smiled a lot reading the reaction from my Path timeline. Some of them dissappointed because it was a prank, while other suspected it already. So let’s sit down and wait for the official announcement from Ultra themselves :)

My background in college was Broadcasting and Mass Communication. I have to say, my likeness of writing grew when I was in college. Not to mention, my final project I took the role as script writer.
If I want to make my own movie, there is one role I really like to take. As a Producer. I once took a role as a director. I don’t think I fit as a director hehehehe. That’s why I want to try another role. I also don’t want to be a performer as well. I’m more comfortable to be person behind the screen.
I must admit, I have a tendencies to be a control freak. Being a producer, I have to supervise from preproduction to post production processes of a movie. Design every detail, from location, budgeting to creative suggestions and decisions. Lots of discussions and probably debates all the way. Producing a movie involving lots of people.
For me, the best part as a producer is you finally see your movie is finish. The box office result is a bonus. At least I can share the team work to public.

I was hanging out with my friends. We were 6 persons of high school friends just having fun while reminiscing the old days. One of the guy went to the toilet and we still talking among ourselves. Then our dear friend, let’s call him Fred, came back with a huge smile on his face. We asked what happen because he looks so happy.
I just met beautiful girl outside the toilet. When she passed me, her perfume soooo fragrant and yes she is beautiful. I think this is the first time since I broke up with my ex that I meet someone beautiful as she is.
We looked at each other, acknowledge his statement. We started to tease him. Then one of our friend, let’s call him Bob, said that her mother messaged him to meet outside the restaurant. He excused himself and we continued teasing Fred. Then suddenly Fred stopped talking and stared intensively. We also looked at his direction and saw Bob talking with a woman.
“Why are you looking like that?” I asked to Fred.
“The woman that Bob talking to, who is she?” asked Fred without blinking.
“Ow, it’s Bob’s mother. Why?” said one of us. Fred’s eyes widened.
“Fred, don’t tell me…” I think I guessed correctly, judging by Fred’s panic face.
Fred then looked at me and gave a small nod. My jaw literally dropped. Our friends still didn’t get it. Then Bob came with his mother. “Mum, these are my high school friends,” he introduced his mother. We said our greetings, including Fred. I remember his face suddenly turn red. Bob has to go with his mother so he bid goodbye to us.
After they left the restaurant, I started to laugh. Fred smack my shoulder and asked me to stop laughing. I tried to stop but I couldn’t. Our friends still curious. Between the laughs, I told them that the woman Fred meet at the toilet was Bob’s mother. Everybody started to laugh.
We never saw Bob’s mother before so we didn’t expect that she looks like a woman in her 30s. Yes she looks so young. We met her 3 months ago on Bob’s wedding and she still look beautiful and young. As for Fred, we teased him for 2 weeks before we got bored. We never tell Bob about it. It’s our little secret hehehe.

When it comes to food, my favorite dishes was made by matriarch of my family, a.k.a. my Grandmum. Yup, for us, her children and grandchildren, Grandmum’s food is really comforting. We’re not talking about portion, although she loves to eat with big portion (considering we all LOVE to eat).
Even with the simplest recipe, she can make the best food in the world I’ve ever eat. In her food, we can feel her effort, her love, her passion, and most of all her prayers. She one told me, every time she prepared and cook the food, Grandmum always pray that every person that eat her food will have more energy and good health throughout the day. A simple wish from a mother to all her child.
My Grandmum know how much we love her food. That’s why she always cook in big portion so each and everyone can bring home her food for dinner or next day breakfast. Everybody will take home one big box contains lots of food. That way, we can still feel her love even though we live separately.
That’s the best feeling you can get from my Grandmum’s cooking :)
