So my friend, Dmaz, wrote in his Twitter account last night. A very beautiful letter! I asked his permission to copy-paste here, and he gave it. The letter itself,,, very beautiful.
Here's the letter:
Halo, apa kabar kamu malam ini?
Menulis ini sambil menatap langitmu kini
Sebab rinduku sudah di ujung hati
Dan aku ingin meminta sesuatu hingga nanti..
Maukah berjanji padaku?
Anggap hidup adalah permainan, Bintangku
Dan wahana terbaik adalah galaksiku
Jadi tak perlu takut memainkan peran itu
Walau dadu menggelinding tak menentu
Maukah berjanji padaku?
Untuk selalu sayangi aku tanpa jeda
Seperti hujan yang tak mau reda
Seperti musik tak henti memeluk nada
Hingga ragaku tak lagi muda
Terus berikanku pijarmu yang penuh asa
Tanpa perlu terpaksa hingga habis masa
Walau kau jauh tapi aku tetap merasa
Karena cintaku ini paling luar biasa
Untuk penuhi semua itu
Karena setiap kerlipmu adalah nafasku
Dan gugusanmu merangkai nyawaku
Permintaanku cuma satu...
Bintangku, Sinarilah Galaksiku...selalu

Feels like I'm the parents HAHAHA
Last week was impulsive week for me. I'm type of person full with impulsive. and yet I proved my impulsiveness, once again hehehe. Let's drop down some of my impulsive act this week:
1. Mandarin Course
To be able to speak Mandarin always become my dream since little. I always love to watched Mandarin movies, especially kungfu movies. To see those actors and actresses did some difficult moves, really mesmerized me. Above all, how they write,,, I fell in love instantly with the calligraphy. I think Pinyin is the first foreign letters I know. I kept my dreams to learn Mandarin only in my heart.
Back in February 2011, there was an education expo. One of prominent language center also attended the expo. They offered Mandarin course. I interested so I came to their stand and asked the info. It's a good language center, but kinda expensive for me. So, once again, skipped my dream for a while.
But this week, something came up my mind. I suddenly remembered my latest chat with my friend, Laras. Few weeks ago, our favorite artist, Han Geng from China, came to Indonesia to promote his new movie, My Kingdom. She won meet and greet with Han Geng and told about her experience in that event. She said, "I can understand a bit what he said, since I learned Mandarin for a while."
Somehow, what she said really bothered me after few days. Having Mandarin course really intriguing. So without any hesitation, I went to nearest language center and signed up to Mandarin class! Not too expensive and I got native teacher!!! I went there during lunch break.
When I went back to the office, I told my friends about my new class. They kinda surprised. They thought I will take Korean course, since my obsession with Hallyu Wave hehehe. But no. I chose Mandarin course to begin with. After I learned the basics, maybe I will take another course, Japan and Korean.
My class will start at 20 October. Wish me luck!!!
2. Karaoke Session
It's been a long time since I have karaoke session with my friends. Suddenly, on Wednesday 12/10, I went with my friends, Mbak Ketty and Awil, to have our karaoke session. Our mood that week kinda,,, mellow. We need boosters, and karaoke is the way out.
We went to Inul Vizta F(X). Our songs reflected our mood that week, kinda slow. In the other words, "GALAU!". Songs from Muse, Aly & AJ, Evanescence, also Indonesian songs from Ruth Sahanaya, Rossa and Frida really pictue
My last post was back in July, on my birthday. Almost 3 months I didn't update this blog. What can I say in the past 3 months??? A LOT!
Well the admission process for 2011 intake is over. Finally we have 84 new students for 2011. After long and tiring process of admission, it's finally done!!! On 5 September, we started the English Matriculation program for new intake. This program is to make them familiar with English environment in SSB. This program last until 9 September 2011.
I happened to asked some students about matriculation program. Here's what they said:
Lots of answer came up. But the majority is the answers above. Exciting, scared, but they got support from lecturers. The college world is something new to them and they can't wait for the adventure.
To help the transition from high school to college life, we held an orientation on 12-16 September 2011. The whole 5 days, the students have packed schedule with games and sessions. As part of committee, I helped Mbak Ketty supervised the orientation.
Apparently, their high school nature still come up. Still noisy, late from the first until last day, and it's gonna be a long post just to list down their faults. The student committee even gave up with their attitudes. So they asked SSB staffs, including me, to gave them some 'session' on the last day. As usual, session with me meant "Stepmother Session".
When it comes to "stepmother session", the senior students already knew how the session will run. But for new students, it's their very first time and maybe I gave them a great shock. In that session, I literally explode and list down their mistake and violations of rules we agreed before orientation. Judging by the look at their face, they completely shocked hehehe. Yes, Stepmother strike again!
By the end of orientation, we held an inauguration to officially welcomed new students of SSB. Hopefully they can do well during their 4-years of college. Gain new knowledge, make friends, and above all,,, become a successful person with
Just an ordinary girl that living the extraordinary life with her extraordinary family and friends
